Rossford Schools will have two replacement operating levies on the ballot on May 3, 2022. The two 6.9 mill levies, one approved in 1991 the other 2002, would allow Rossford Schools to preserve current student programming and staffing levels. Each levy is being reduced by 1 mill. A yes vote would lower a homeowner's tax bill.
The volunteer-led community group in support of the replacement levies, Better Schools for Better Community, will have a public Campaign Kickoff Meeting at the Rossford High School cafeteria (701 Superior St.) on Thursday, March 10 at 6:30 p.m.
"At the meeting, which members of the public are encouraged to attend, BSBC committee members will share how attendees may get involved in protecting the heart and soul of our school community - our people and programs," shared Emily Klocko, BSBC President.
Light refreshments will be served. After the formal meeting, attendees may take guided tours of the high school facility.
